just checked mine and an alarm for 17:12 just went off.

You can set new alarms but you can not use the re-occurring alarms as it wont work.

As probably some have done already, I just set my reoccurring alarm an hour earlier than I would normally. Ie. 6am instead of 7am. That should work.

Yea, apparently, this will be resolved in the imminent 4.2 release (already Jailbroken and due for release on 7/11)
