barneybrendan
4 wheel drive *could* be possible with some work I would have thought. 2JZ-GTE's have been dropped into 4x4's, Landcruisers and the like though I'm not sure if they retained 4WD or not. It's always made me wonder if you could manage to fit a drivetrain into a Supra. Anything is possible if you can drop enough cash on it I suppose. we once converted a mk5 rs2000 to 4x4 by welding the siera cosworth floor pan in.Anything is possible but you have to have the skills to do it yourself or an unlimited supply of cash. RobD
There's a 4wd supra on supra forums isn't there? I remember seeing the build thread for it! Everything had to be custom made!
davej705
buy a 4x4 cosworth and you have the running gear and engine. How strong are they? I wouldn't want something that would be breaking all the time, bear in mind I'm going to be pushing close to 4digit bhp

There is a company that makes them, but they cost in the region of 5k per wheel, if i remeber correctly? http://mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=140545

Josh
The CF wheels look great but for £5k each I'd just lose the required weight from myself

David P
Lexus 300 I think, was available as a 4x4 by special order in Japan Maybe those parts could be persuaded to fit under a Supra?

Think the winning bidder got a bargain then at £3,500. To the OP, something different for the sake of being different or for a certain goal? Run your single turbo on LPG? Or even better Bio Fuel. To be different and stand out from the rest.something signature on the car that hasn't been done before,it's quite difficult because most things I can think of have been done or are being done. The diesel idea keeps popping up,I wouldn't do that with this project however I have a spare shell I could use...

Nic
LFA looky-likey - although if you went ahead with that suggestion, I may need to kill myself for putting the idea in your head. Or you could make a Supra look like a Celica just to be different from the Crowd
