I have to get up at 5am for work. If I set my iPhone alarm for 5am now will it go off at 0500 GMT or 0500 BST? I really don't want to get up an hour earlier than necessary!

Anyone know?

If you can't work it out by now
Just checking, that wasn't a reply to me, was it?

Jake, I am pretty sure the iPhone has daylight saving's so the phone will automatically correct itself at 2am :)
Cheers Abz mate. Hope you're right! :D

Crikey, thank's for the tip :Pling:

Not wanting to become 'King Inscrutable', but when no-one else has posted, it must be reasonably workoutable?

Without malice :) :innocent:

"thank's"? Not worked out the apostrophe yet then?

Don't worry, David, I didn't start panicking in the 7 mins nobody had replied.

I love how people like scotty and David, who apparently can't even spell words like "of" and "thanks", are trying to take the piss out of me because I don't know whether there's a setting on the iPhone that has to be turned on/off to automatically update the clock for daylight saving time changes. :) Maybe I'm the only one that finds it ironic. Ah well, good night chaps - thanks for all the help :D

No worries Jake, I only worked it out when the clocks last changed :D

Though you can double check by going to Settings > General > Date & Time and check if "Set Automatically" is turned on. Though I actually think this setting is switched on as standard.

Anyway, chances you are asleep if you have to be up at 5 am! :D
