I have used the search botton and read on the net now for 2 hours and the info i have found does not seem to be right ,

I have a j spec tt6 and im trying to fit APEXI S-AFC Just for the display really , The problem i have is that i cannot get an rpm feed and ignition signal

I have look at wiring diagrams and they are saying E10 ,16 or another i looked at was E9 , 58 for the rpm and E10 ,1 for the ignition switch ,as its worded ,I have used these and no look .

Could someone point me in the right direction of the good pinout one they no is right or tell me the numbers and plugs of the wires i need .

Thank you for your time Rich.

This is the way my sAFC was successfully wired up ages ago:

Brown -> B69 (nearest ECU)

Black -> B69 (nearest loom)

Red -> A31

Green -> B58

Yellow -> ECU side of B62

White -> Loom side of B62

Grey -> B43

Blue -> unused

Pink -> ununsed

Orange -> unused

Yellow and White I believe are the airflow signal, don't attach them or cut the B62 wire if you are only using the display features of the sAFC.

The attached picture shows which plug is A (E10) and which is B (E9) and the associated pin numbers. If you didn't get an RPM signal off B58 then you either did it wrong somehow or you've got bigger problems as your ECu sin't seeing an RPM feed either :D
