just wondering if anyone has tryed these

and are they any gud

Quite a few members have them (and the equivalent ksport.... brands). Although they might not be the best brakes out there, being good value for money they will do the job for 95% of users. The general concensus is to change the crap pads you get with them and you have a good value for money setup.

BTW you will shortly be pulled up by the mods for your poor spelling, we tend to like people to make an effort not to speak in shorthand :)

It depends upon what brakes you have now. Mathematically they are supposed to give just slightly less stopping power than a UK set up. I have KSport 8 pots and was not expecting a big improvement in breaking stopping power, but was expecting better fade resistance with repeated hight speed stops. I was really pleasantly surprised that they worked better at pulling up in a shorter distance at all my known brake points in the local area. They also coped very well with high speed repeated speed scrubbing. I would say they are excellent value for money. The pads sold with them are OK but not much good for really heavy use. There are much better pads available in patterns identical to all the big name brake makes, so getting pads is easy.
