Scott
Why, is it a secret? Not at all, I'm blitzed and don't want to talk more crap than normal. I will divulge all if reminded in the morning/afternoon.
Abz
My colleague sat with 5 laptops in the office to get his Michael Jackson tickets, maybe that's the trick!
Vicky
Was that eBay? They sold out in 28 mins No it was via ticketline, you could still get seated tickets after that, I managed to get standing.

Scott
Ok here goes, Ticket soup is the no.1 choice See Tickets Ticketline Gigs & Tours Ticketmaster Everytime I have gotten tickets for BIG events, it has been a couple of minutes before the actual on sale time. Yesterday I had them at 8.57, 3 minutes before they were actually meant to go on sale. I got them on ticket soup. I open up all the sites in tabs and save the tab list to my homepage 10 minutes before they go on sale. This means all I need to do is hit "Home" and it refreshes all the pages at the same time. I then go through them 1-5 trying to buy the tickets as soon as they come up. To get a quick overall view I hover over the internet explorer "E" icon and in windows 7 it shows small live thumbnails of the pages. That way I can quickly view which one has them on sale first. I have successfully managed 3 take that tours, U2, Frankie Boyle, Billy Connolly, Lee Evans and Kevin Bridges using the above method. Granted I didn't always have the thumbnails option but I made do
Vicky
I tried getting them from my laptop but the sites kept getting stuck, I used my mobile in the end. Ticketline have different screens for mobile browsing which I guess were less busy.

I'm just bumping this thread because I took your advice to try and get some tickets the other day. I hadn't realised that ticket soup is only for Scottish venues. Just thought I'd FYI in case anyone else didn't know.

Yep, got some cracking tickets to see McFly at Sheffield. I have no idea what's happened to me. I am officially so excited I might make signage.
