Guigsy
I got a camera mount at the weekend. (well technicly its a phone holder thing but it holds anything.) sticks onto the window with a flexable but still quite stiff shaft. The problem is even small bumps make it wobble arround quite a bit. (a quite smooth brick carpark looks like im driving over a ploughed field. So recording anything makes it look a bit daft Is there any way i can dampen it a bit somehow? Ive been useing my iphone but i think the same thing would be the case with a normal camera. The other mounts ive seen the camera is mounted firmly to the base near the sucker. Is this the issue? its nice having a bit of flexability with positioning that the flexable shaft gives. ellis
It's nice having a bit of flexibility with positioning that the flexible shaft gives. Couldn't agree more! Yoga helps as do hot oil massages!

Guigsy
thing is the shaft isnt flexable enough to wobble so it must be something else :S
scotty71
to big: I had my little Kodak Zx1 HD cam on one about the same length, as you state even though the length is good to position it bounces more than Jordans boobs I now use one close to the suction cup as you also mentioned and now steady as a rock. See it here on the incar cam half way through Edit : my long one doesnt move but slight up and down due to length give a shite vid Scotty n5nWxrjdEpA
Guigsy
im thinking about doubleing the flexable shaft over on its self and then binding it down with a very tight elastic band or string. Looks like it works ok. but will have to test
