dude
Will a 295 on 11j have a small stretch?? Prob not, these are 285/35/18, the rear height is left for the big drag radials but they are not stretched at all and the rims are 11. dude
No need for 'stretching' there to get smoke:search:
David Reid
I am only playing, it just reminded me of the 70's Jag IRS hotrod style look . I think StuartW's looks mean though with the full prostreet treatment, like the pics you post. For the OP this is what 245's look like on a 9.5J you dont hardly notice the stretch (my old GTR) http://www.magix-photos.com/mpfw01/10/81/B2/82/70/82A411DDB3FCACB0521E5DE2/81B2827082A411DD8E1341B3521E5DE2.jpg http://www.magix-photos.com/mpfw01/10/80/85/9B/30/82A411DD87B5483D521E5DE2/80859B3082A411DDBF9CB341521E5DE2.jpg
dude
Im not a fan of the jacked up IRS look, but I do love my muscle cars, heres a better pic of the black car, I NEED sidewall flex to take the shock outta my launches:)

Jamesy
Thanx David. They dont look stretched at all. Ive been told the falken fk452 come up quite narrow so will stretch more. Im still thinkig 235/40/18 is best for the fronts....
Jamesy
How much are they J ????? I wasnt aware you could get a 295/35 R888, I'll be up for some of those. They are something stupid like 300 notes a corner now mate but i got them off here a while ago
Animal
How do you get a full size pic in the post and not thumbnail???? If you click the thumbnail, it will open in a new window, you can then paste that link into the main text (in tags). This can be done when you preview your post before submitting. Jamesy
Welcome dude Right been offered some 235/45/18's conti sport. They side wall is a bit higher than i wanted but i might get them to see what the stretch is like and to see about fitment. Im thinking that even though the sidewall is 45, because its got a sligjt stretch it should still give good clearance?!
marcAB10
aahh this thread worked out rather well, an interesting start, firey middle and a pleasant end. Jamesy got answers and i feel fulfilled.

The tyres on the GTR pictures are conti sport 245/40/18, so sideway will look slightly taller but I dont think the stretch will be obvious. I have a pair of 9.5s with 235/40/18 on I can take a picture of if your interested
