Havard
It's got 166K on it, price is about right for a quick sale isn't it? H.
ellis
166K with no history! Would you buy a Supe with that mileage and no history? Methinks not!
jonathanc
166K with no history! Would you buy a Supe with that mileage and no history? Methinks not! well I guess the no history bit was the big red arrow here. Suppose could do a HPI check on it first before committing. Looks like a bargain unless it has cooked turbos or knackered engine hidden there. "Sold as seen" Just tempted but I guess you get what you pay for... for a project car, but I wouldn't be too sure that the mileage isn't a lot higher, given the change in it over the course of the MOT's, though it could well be fine. jonathanc
wow....thats a dodgy history. Failed so many times lol! In contrast how about this one : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290493115355 Worth the asking price? I've offered a cheeky 2700 for it and he counter offered with 2900. Last week he wouldn't budge with anything below 3.3k...
PJ
That's a lot of car for £2900, but worth confirming with these guys that it's not a Cat C or D that's been repaired.
jonathanc
Hmmm how does the eBay Best Offer system works? If I made an offer and he counter offered and I declined the whole deal is off isn't it? Or not? I wish I can do HPI check but he mentioned the plate is going back to a T plate.. edit: according to him THIS CAR IS HPI CLEAR IN ALL ASPECTS
Abz
Still a lot of car for £1,700. Jonathan - That black one seems very nice, again a lot of car & technology for £3k! Meet him in the middle (that's what he wants) and agree £2,800 for it.
dangerous brain
Look at the mileage across the years then at the one thats 40k!!! Thats the dodgy part. Its got huge miles on it and another unkown tonne of miles on top of that. Extremely high potential for being a bucketfull of expense. Considering none of us on the club can find ones that aren't in the club I dunno how he manages it but he does. Experiences with his trading don't come back with any horror stories either from memory.
