Jamesy
Putting tyres on a bare wheel is a piece of piss. Unless there totaly incompetent there is no chance of scratching the wheel, its the removal of old tyres and fitting new thats the more awkward bit. no tyres coming off luckily is there anyone local who does wheel refurbs?, when i got my tyres fitted i used 'the wheel specialist' local company that does refurbs, chances are if they do powdercoating and refurbs on a daily basis they wont have machines that scratch the wheels, or the lad doing it should know to take care. good idea mate will try simons guy first but thanx
Kirk
i they wont have machines that scratch the wheels Its not the equipment at fault, its the user Ive been changing tyres for a long time now and over the years have realised aslong as the machine is set correctly and the user know's what there doing then theres not much chance of marking them. Kilps
is there anyone local who does wheel refurbs? Wheel Works, Royce Road, Manor Royal IndEst, Crawley... they did a very good job of refurbing my wheels. I'm not sure if they do just tyre fitting, but it's worth asking! http://www.wheelworksuk.co.uk/

I'd have thought it'd be about £5 for all 4 being as it's a simple job if you have the machine. I must be mistaken..

Jamesy
Yep! Usually pay around £10 a corner but for the sake of £8 a wheel amd assurance the rims arent gonna be scratched is money well spent
Josh
Fair enough, it does seem worth the extra £ when you put it that way
Jamesy
In my head yeah definitely. For the amount the wheels & tyres cost might as well get them fitted by a pro Plus id have easily spent that in fuel if id have driven to wheels In motion
