b_have
Anyone know this map? I have been dialing in more and more advance at the low end (currently + 14 deg @ 1000rpm ~ + 12 @2000) I'm using 103 RON at around 13.5 afr preboost. Off boost response is amazing at this level with no audible det whatsoever. Just wondering if i dare go further?
adi2009
Are you controlling it through your ITC mate?
b_have
Yes, using det cans with emenem on mute.
JohnA
Charlie, have you got it on the rollers mate? If so, you can check the power (at those revs) for every couple of degrees advance you add. It should be going consistently up, and at some point it will hit a plateu. If you continue adding advance it will then start losing power and then it will hit DetLand. Just stop at the plateu. eyefi
ive got the stock ign map somewhere, but it's no use. it's very odd and not something you could just use, it's probably not the only ign map in the ecu and probably has some major modifiers working on it. JohnA
ive got the stock ign map somewhere, but it's no use. ... Totally agree. It would probably be just a base map, normally used with offsets depending on how busy the knock sensors appear to be...
b_have
Would be interested to see anyone else's piggyback numbers on timing.

Alex
Charlie...I'm pushing similar numbers in that area on the eManage...but I'm not going further till I've got some detcan time. Think I peak at a 15 BUT it's all guess work atm. Agreed though, it does make a difference The biggest difference should be between 1500 and 2000rpm
