On the flyer for the event at the start of the thread it says that the Market entrance will be closed. So we'll all ahve to go from the Bourne End Services on the A1. This is a bad idea as at one point the road becomes a dirt track so low car may ground and ground hard specially those with Nur Specs. Would it be possible to open the Market gates if members Policed them?

I'll take mine up tonight to see what the clearance is like, but being allowed to use the market gate would be better.

I did go up there the other day on my bike and didn't notice a dirt track ( but then i was looking around and not concentrating on the florr ) it wasn't too bad to be honest, but if you do go check that would be good. You know you can come off the bypass to the entrance.

As Steve says it's all in this post near the begining. But yes you can bring friends in other cars as long as they really are friends of yours and not people you know through a friend of a friend etc.... Spectators are free. :)

Ok went up the back road to the see what the clearance was like. It's not a dirt track as much more an attempt has been made to give it a hard surface but that was a good few years ago so the centre is rised as the traffic has compacted the outer edges. Exhaust grounded to start so did bumper but that was because i was going to fast as it went from road to track. Then just let the car pull itself along in first and no scary noises coming from the exhaust. My front has a 10cm clearance so unless your really low there should be a problem so 80mm front clearance and less will have to be very careful. Is it possible to get one set of wheels on the raised center part which would help clearance.

Well the gates will be open for the first 2/3 hours and then locked. You can still get in and out so don't anybody threat. I'll put a notice on the gate itself on the day with a mobile number for me.

Membership cards would be good, specially if you havn't got a supra. But if you turn up on the day with mates, as long as you all come in together and just state who you are (Username) there should be no problem.
