hadyn
oh and the MR2 guy is asking if you'll be able to measure 0-60s?
Guest jeb
yes I should be coming in my mr, and a friend who's just purchased an elise.
Homer
If the kit James got can't do 0-60 I'll bring a Race technology Ap-22. It’s an accelerometer which can measure 0-60, 0-100, breaking, etc. There might be a couple of others with similar bits of kits.

Guest GSI Mav
Just got off the phone to guy I know ... nice guy just absolutely no idea!! Mentioned this event - and he's interested in running his car 1/4 drag with Supes. He's got no idea what the performance of the Supra is ... infact sometimes it's like talking to a child. Anyway - who fancies running with against a fully standard Saab 2001 93 Aero 2.0 ?HOT ? I'll be coming along with my mate Scooby_Doo_Do and looking for a few slightly less tuned cars to be running against. Although im looking equally forward to running against his Supra just for shits and giggles

Although im looking equally forward to running against his Supra just for shits and giggles From what I've seen of this Saab .. it's a FWD wheelspinny thing. Full of torque steer. Which is great if all you want to do go left all the time.

Sharpie
Cool, id like to know how loud mine is Yeah, me too. As mentioned before a mate will be coming along with to do some professional photo's of the event. The pics I think will be done with a Digital SLR so will be excellent quality (Calendar.. hint, hint!!). Pics on CD will be available at a VERY good price. His previous work can be seen here: http://www.melita-group.co.uk/photos/
Guest Terry S
James, at the risk of turning this into a nightmare for you, is there a list - total # of cars running so we have an idea of just how busy its going to be. People must be able to confirm their attendance by now. I will start another thread for attendees I think to give us an idea...

how_supra
Terry James was going to start the list I think after he had picked up the timing gear [today]. No harm in you starting it I guess.

how_supra
Fair enough mate, just have visions of 100+ cars racing around:eek: Assuming people are sensible it should be okay. I know there are a fair few cars turning up now, so I do see where you are coming from. But I think only one maybe two cars will be on the track at a time. So there should be no reason why any more cars are moving about - certainly no more than 4 [taking into account Max GT stall etc]. Cars who are not using the track or on the stalls for specific reasons will be parked up until it is there turn to use the track etc. Finer details will be posted in the next day or so. These details will include, maps, timetable for the day, locations of stalls, specific events - such as photos etc, parking, instructions on the day and anything else. scooby_doo_do
Maybe its a good idea if you put the cars in classes.. And then on the track you can say, put.. Eg.. Supra - Fast Saab - medium, KA- slow together, that way they aren't going to get envolved with each other unless one of them spins/have problems. And on a lighter note - i managed to source 3 traffic cones :-) after i sweet talked a member of the local council "cough".
