hogmaw
I asked babelfish to translate this from English to Spanish: “Thanks for your reply, I will be in contact again very soon.” And this is what I got: “Las gracias por su contestación, estaré en contacto otra vez muy pronto.” So just to double check, I asked it again to translate that back into English, and it came up with this: “Thanks for its answer, I will be in contact with the enemy again in a moment.” WTF? Is there an online translator that actually works???
Josh
Haha "the enemy" In answer to your question they never work for me, I guess that's why there's an option to get it done professionally.. for a fee
Snooze
Original translation looks... passable. Not sure where the translation back picked up "the enemy" from - I don't think it's implicit within the Spanish text.

Abz
Some of my colleagues in Almaty use Babelfish to translate and it is hilarious We once had one of the guys reply back saying he was "feeling steamy hot" when trying to saying the server room was getting pretty got, we had a couple more funny ones which I can't remember, one where it reduced the whole team to tears! I'd recommend you use this, I find it quite good: http://translate.google.com
Attero
Google Translate is the way forward. I hated babelfish after it's gotten me in a lot of trouble.
The-Plethora
For fun you can use... http://funnytranslator.com/translation Which translates to various languages up to 50 times and back to English, quite funny. The post Abz did becomes.... "My colleagues in Almaty use Babelfish translation and laughter, when a child says, he "felt the hot steam," When I told the server room and a small profit, baby have some fun, I do not remember some, all equipment, to reduce to tears"
The-Plethora
ha 50 translations...even better... "Hi, fishing, said Almaty, and Babylon: "We gave a little late," Some children may be a translation of steam engines, remember!" You expect to read that on a hotel welcome board in China

Attero
I chose something pretty random (and yeah - I don't own a BPU Supra btw) "I like to run my BPU Supra into a world of speed, drift and style." 50 Translations later... "I like the speed and quality of the British Board of outsourcing."
