Josh Posted October 25, 2010 Share Posted October 25, 2010 For the last few months I've had a weird groaning sound coming from the engine bay. It usually happens with I switch the car off it makes a groaning sound that lasts about 3 or 4 seconds. I've looked online but can't find anything about this. The sound sometimes occurs when you turn the ignition on so I was thinking maybe the fuel pump. Any help would be much appreciated. Problem is that it doesn't do it every time I switch it off. It probably happens 9 times out of 10.
