Chris Wilson
I couldn't possibly comment. The most desirable would be a two door 240 series turbo, but they were never sold in the UK and you'd have to import one. B23 engined 7 series are good, and for a smooth engine and very last of the RWD models look at S90's and V90's. The same six cylinder engine was in the very last of the 9 series as well. dangerous brain
I had a 940 2.3 HPT. It was a right hoot. 7 seats, it was no slouch and very cheap power upgrades available for it. Funny as ferk when I did a donut in the car park when the local muppets were badly trying to do burn outs in their saxo's. Chris Wilson
I have posted this before, but for any Volvo fans it's a cool engine.Note the supercharger belt flap though, that would be off I reckon, in extended usage, or break. http://www.gatesgarth.com/volvo_dyno/dyno_pull.mpg

dangerous brain
are they good enough in the winter? Good enough for what exactly? Narrow decent winter tyres and they'll be as good as any car is my guess.
