I'm between a rock and a hard place at the moment. I really want one but I only bought my 50" plasma last year. I'm looking to get a decent TV for the bedroom but I can't very well have 3d upstairs and not have it downstairs. I could put the TV we have in my bedroom but 50" is just silly big lol.

Scott, I have solution for you my friend.

You bring me round your 50" (TV that is) I'll give you a 32" (Again TV) which you then can have in the bedroom. This would then enable you to buy a brand new 3D TV for the front room. Everyone win's, especially you!

You can thank me later when you drop it off :D

Took Jen into Curry's for a Demo last weekend, as she wasn't convinced it was worth it.

She was very impressed and now wants one, as you say much more impressive than the cinema

Problem is, we have a 58" Panasonic and don't want to down size really, so you are still looking around £3000 for a full set up:blink:

Do you still need to wear the glasses. If so... I'm oot.

yeah you do.

As for when they are not working in 3d the picture is simply stunning!

I saw a demo in our local telly shop and they had avatar playing in 2d and 3d.

3D was just like the cinema but I was more impressed by the 2d! The picture was truly amazing and we both just stood there for about 10min watching it! The depth of the image was excellent.

Hi Gaz, is your passive or active shutter technology?

I tried the cheap passive screens and didn't like it, not had chance to play with the more expensive shutter glasses.

The greatest thing about 3D screens is that they're driving down the prices on non 3D screens really nicely. Hoping to pick up a top model Panasonic Plasma around Christmas/Jan cheap. :D

Gaz, download Motorstorm 3D Rift off the Playstation network if you want to try some 3D gaming, its phenominal! (the game is 10 tracks remastered in 3D from pacific rift).

Some other top games in 3d soon as well, Cod blacks ops, GT5, Killzone 3, Motorstorm etc.

I went for the panasonic 50vt20 and not looked back, its quality

Holy smoke! 58"! Do you have a huge living room?

Haha, no not a massive front room, but it was only £600 and I couldn't resist.

Gaming on a big screen is awesome.

Just got a new Sony stand with built in surround sound as well, the base is awesome, I just went next door to make sure they couldn't hear the thumping:innocent: luckily they can't:d
