JamieP
Yup, great clamps. Bloody expensive though. I cant find any prices on them although whifbitz said they can get them for me, just need to work out what sizes i need. For each connection you need 2x weld on fittings, 2 o-rings and the clamp. i have 4 connections to do.
Miguel
From memory the 3" clamps were about £70 and the 3.4" were over £100. The tube ends were around £30 ish, and I think the 0-rings were a couple of quid. That was some time ago so prices may have come down some. Swampy442
Wont normal Mikalors do mate? These look like aircraft fuel pipe connections. How about V banding the I/C pipes for ultimate sealage?
JamieP
Blimey, 4 x connection could cost around £600-700, will wait for some prices back, might give them a miss.

How about V banding the I/C pipes for ultimate sealage? Mikalors are total sh1t, i would never have them on my IC pipes again. Proper jublie clips are far better. Swampy442
Fair point, Ive never used them myself. Get some V bands welded in mate, and absolutely no worries
Miguel
Just noticed I wrote 3.4" when it's meant to be 3.5". 3.4 on the brain today.

barneybrendan
just buy the clamps and 2 ends and get the rest machined be a fair bit cheaper.
JamieP
I just like things that are a bit different, they give a high class engine look i think, the other option it to do this, machine company i use would knock these up cheap for me. Miguel
^ again, you're restricted on movement with that option. It could lead to cracking.

TLicense
We use wiggins clamps all the time at work. If you want a joint that won't fail until you reach the burst pressure of the clamp, they're the thing to get. 1000% better than jubilee's or mikalors. Scott
I'd go with Brendan's Idea Jamie. Get yourself the clamps, one of the ends and then just get the rest machined. You would save a fortune.
JustGav
If you got a few sets machined up, they would possibly sell.....(offset costs and such)

You would save a fortune. I dont think id save much tbh, i need 8 weld on fittings, thats £240 if they are £30 each as mentioned, if i have them machined i still need to buy a male and female of the weld on fittings to copy, Thats £60, plus the say £100ish? quid id have to pay to have the others machined. For the saving and the agro involved id rather pay the extra and have the real thing. Its the clamps that are the expensive bit at a £100 each. JamieP
Yeah i see that, might be an option for the clamps, cant see any of the weld on fitting on ebay though, i need 3x 3.5" and 1 x 3" kit

Chris Wilson
Raceparts or Trident Racing are where I get mine. I don't think they will be suitable for your set up as they don't leave enough rubber pipe for movement absorption. Wherever you get them proper Wiggins clamps are very dear. Alan Dockings also have them under their Earl's Fittings company. I can get some discount from them as i buy a lot of stuff from them: http://www.earls.co.uk/earls/quickdisconnects/wiggins.html That link above also leads to price listings.
