I didn’t think I was going to do this but there is a car I’m interested to buy and as much as I don’t want to sell the Celica I cant afford to own two cars. I’m in no hurry at all to sell because this car is perfect for me and I’m not desperate for the other car. More than anything I would like to sell to save up more money.

Now many members have seen this car in action and can vouch for the quality and effort I have put in it. I haven’t had the car long at all but have sunk a lot of money into it in the time I have had it to make it a proper rally machine. It looks and sounds awesome, but it not all show, this car really does go!

Winter is here, imagine the snow and you tearing past the lumbered 2wd smaller humans in their pitful machines! (this excludes all supras :)

The specs etc:-

Engine and drive train.

2.0litre 3SGTE Turbo charged Engine..

Full Jap Speed exhaust system from manifold. So big downpipe etc all the way to the back. Fully de-cated.

Blitz sbc boost controller

Blitz Airfilter.

Blitz Dumpvalve

ChargeCooler System

Engine oil is crystal clear and doesn’t smoke at all!

Has just had a complete flush. Every single fluid has been sucked out professionally and re-filled with top grade stuff. Brand new Pro S bought from the Oilman.

Power steering fluid all taken out and fresh put in.

Brake fluid all taken out, new stuff put in and fully bled.

All charge cooler fluid, Rad etc all changed.

Diff fluids changed, Gearbox fluid changed.

There is not a single fluid left on the car that has not been changed. I have spent over £300 in just top end fluids for the car!

Brand New Southbend Custom made very high performance clutch. Explained later

Brand New drilled and grooved disks all round.

Brand New Yellow Stuff pads.

Tein suspension all round.

Iridium Plugs.

Interior

No torn seats or manky carpet, nice and clean.

The front door panels have custom built enclosures for edge speakers. See ice section.

The rear quarter panels have custom made enclosures for edge subs. See ice section.

E-glo dash conversion

Rear window tints

Exterior

No stupid low slung body kits. It’s a rally car so decent ground clearance.

No arch rubbing or folding needed

Paint work has been detailed and is very nice and shiny!

18” very good condition wheels (the front left wheel has one scuff nothing major)

Brand NEW tyres all round. Over 6mm left

TRD Mudguards that really set off the exterior look.

2 Brand new sets of HID’s.

1 set for the normal outer head lights and 1 set for the inner beam headlights.

Fully functioning fog lights front and rear.

ICE

Brand new Sony Bluetooth Head-Unit.

2 x Edge Component Speakers in front door custom enclosure

2 x Edge Mid speaker in front door custom enclosure

2 x Edge 10” Subwoofers in custom rear panel enclosure’s.

£150 worth of brand new cabling round the car. Professionally fitted.

Sony Mono-Block amp fitted in the boot and screwed down to rear seat panels.

Crystal clear sound quality and fully adjustable to your sound style.

Extra’s

Just had the car MOT done and it flew through, absolutely no problems and no advisories – seen as I had so much damn work done! I still had 29 days left for the current MOT so the new MOT hasn’t even started yet :D – you get 12 months and about 13 days from now.

Just had 6 months road tax put on.

The car has had brand new brakes put on all round costing me £550!

Also I have just fitted a brand new custom made Clutch from Southbend. It came all the way from the states and is built to with stand 600hp! It cost me including shipping here just shy of £600 and then I had to pay a £70 customs tax on it. Its made of the best materials and extra money was paid for a special metal ceramic something or other coating, put it this way, the more you punish the clutch the better it performs! Best of all drive completely like stock!

Doesn’t it look Awesome?!

Ok next thing. Common faults on the Celica are the figure 8’s and the rear diff mount. Both can be very expensive. When I got the car the diff mount was shattered and torn. I bought a brand new Genuine Toyota diff mount and that was fitted. The figure 8’s have been professionally seen by suspension experts near me who have said they are in good condition and have plenty of life in them, its believed that they have been changed in the last 2 years.

Heres the old mount:-

And the new Mount:-

The brakes are very very good! They bite is hard and the car stops super quickly at any speed!

Bad points:-

Really nothing, I have addressed every single snag on this car. It doesn’t miss a beat at all. There are a few stone chips on the bonnet but that me trying to find a fault on the car. Also the yellow stuff pads being made from ceramics etc. can squeak here and there.

Other Info:-

Anyone at Llandow will say how well this car was performing on the track, very quick on the straights and even better on the corners. There are no bangs or clunks or crunches coming from the car. Feel free to test it, what ever you throw at it, it will laugh in your face!

Has been tested on a private road, the car has reach 149mph which I very good for a 2.0litre.

It will destroy an N/A all day long and on acceleration in the early gears blitz a TT supra as well (thanks to its quick spool and 4WD system) but as the big bad supra gets going the torque on a supra is something else!

I have spared no expense. If there was anything even small wrong i have changed it. Meaning the new owner can rest assured. I have been on this forum for a very long time and I don’t waffle, I tell people the truth and how it is. Anybody wanting to buy is more than welcome to come and go over the car with a fine comb as I have done that and perfected this motor!

I have spent after getting the car £1100 on just labour for work I have had done. As far as parts go were looking at over £2500. As you can imagine this car has cost me some serious £’s but in the end here we have an absolutely fine example of a GT4. Add on all the other bits and pieces here and there and trust me it’s a bargain for who ever buy its.

Im asking £5500 ovno for the car. It has cost me a lot more to make it to the spec i wanted but in my view its worth every penny. I will add more pictures as I get them. Again im not desperate to sell. P/X Welcome, what you got?! Anyways thanks for looking and feel free to give me a mark out of 10 for the advert

:)

More Pics and Video:-

Two thirds of the way in this video you can see an awesome shot of the celica thanks to Scott!

Really? The caliper castings look different?

It is slightly different IIRC, think the discs are 315mm on these too from memory. Awesome brakes though, have driven a number of these cars in different states of tune and with decent pads / fluid it really does stop well and take track abuse.

Nice example, GLWS
