spiderpigcity
its about 3 hours work to get that out i would say if you do it proplery without damaging loom clips and and not scratching plastics i would say you need 2 days with air tools. maybe 3 without that is to remove and re install just an example remove front seats remove steering wheel and airbag remove passenger airbag remove kick plates and all plastic trims unplug all plugs from both sides of foot wells remove all dash panels remove stereo and all bumf behind and below it remove steering column and let it drop down onto the floor remove bolts holding dash in , some sneeky ones so if it doesnt come out its cos theres a sneeky bolt somwhere remove all the wiring looms or you will never get the dash out as the looms are attached to the frame and the dash (bummer) lift dash out carefully remove dash mounting frame (big thing that runs across whole car go into engine bay and remove bolts hold aircon pipes to bulk head ( you might have to remove some other stuff to get to it first) remove pipes (de pressurize system first) remove the 2 10mm bolts that are next to the air con pipes go back into car and remove all the 10 mm bolts holding the heater box assembly in remove the 2 plugs on passenger side the whole lot should come out Now try and figure out how it all goes back together anyone who can do it in a day is a genius

Scott
I can't see that taking days. I've had everything inside my car, other than the dash, out and it only took me about an hour, maybe less. Removing the dash would be another hour or 2 as described above. Good job you aren't charging hourly I don't think I've ever seen a heater assembly up for sale. Is that the going rate? Seems quite a good price for a core component like that

jackso11
I wish this was for sale when I changed my heater matrix, would have been much easier to change the entire box.
