That time of the year is here to make sure x factors winner does not get x-mas number one lol, now this should be it. http://www.facebook.com/pages/BIRD-is-the-WORD-for-UK-Christmas-number-1-2010-to-beat-X-Factor/134615893253740?v=wall
Charlotte
I really don't get this 'lets keep x-factor off number 1 thing'. I can guarantee half the people saying they hate x-factor watch it on a Saturday night.
ManwithSupra
Haha yeah I will do that, love family guy

I can guarantee half the people saying they hate x-factor watch it on a Saturday night. I can guarantee I don't watch it, I loathe the program and people on there. Is a poxy show that in my view is a lazy ass way for that cowel to make money, instead of actually doing his job and search for talent he has them all come to him so he does not have to lift a finger. There could be other things on tv that would be better off watched. This is just my opinion though, It should be banned.
Charlotte
Last year RATM went to number one. Both that song and the X-Factor song belonged to Sony Records so they were quids in. It would be a better test of people power if a complete unknown but still excellent song was #1.
nevins
That would be alot better I agree, the thing that annoys me is when these so called pop stars just re-release a classic and slaughter it.
Attero
X-factor has been banned from the charts anyway this year. It was on the bbc a couple of days ago. Doesn't this apply: http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/11515065 I didn't really read it.

JustGav
I'm a 'bah humbug' type, BUT I'd far rather family-guy didn't make #1.... Christmas is for kids primarily and as such should be something a little more suitable than that rubbish.
RedM
The people behind the Facebook group haven't even used the proper title for the song. Fools.
Gaz6002
I sincerely hope The Trashmen don't get on the radio at all. Can't stand that song. Still, I don't listen to the charts anyway. It's full of horns and whistles and people shouting rubbish, and I couldn't give any less of a shit about it if I tried. Mainstrean music these days just doesn't carry the same appeal as it used to for me. Damn I sound old. I really need to take some drugs and get down with the kids. CJ
I love X factor and never miss an episode.
Matt H
What does it matter? The people buy the records and that's what puts the song at number one? It's not Simon Cowell say 'my song will be no.1'. I really don't get why people care. I love X factor and never miss an episode. Really? I would have thought that the artificial emotion and the so played out bull cr&p sob stories that anyone that's half decent has wouldn't be up your street? 'oh, I was born with no legs and arms and no eye balls and all I've ever want to do is sing' (stated while west life is playing in the background - for the 200th time that series).
