To get it on the road I need to sort a snapped exhaust manifold bolt thats blowing bad. Apart from that Im taking a punt on it with the bottom end, a mate of the previous owner who I knew let me into a little secret that he thought he heard the bottom end starting to knock. So because of this and the fact it isnt actually running, I've paid £450 for this with an MOT in date still.

I'll get the snapped manifold stud sorted and run her up and see what the crack with the bottom end, if it does start to knck Im just gonna swap the bottom end with my bottom end from my black one as thats freshly built and nicely bedded in with a couple of thousand miles.

As the underneath has been treated so well for what is efectively a 20 year old car, even I was amazed how good it looked underneath and even with my MOT mate mechanic and his trusty little knocking hammer, he couldnt find a lot wrong underneath except one small patch need on the front passenger side sill.

But I cant wait to pick her up, its the gayest car I ever owned :D
