So it covers the spark plugs too.

 

The spark plug cover covers the coil packs, which cover the spark plugs.

 

Anyway, he was talking about the cam pulleys being on show, and the front edge of that plastic bit in question is what covers them.

On here, commonly referred to as the cam cover, for example: here

The cam covers are either side of the spark plug cover IMO... covering the cams.

Cam covers are the two covers that cover the cams, spark plug cover is the plastic centre,

 

I agree, never the less it's commonly referred to as the cam cover on this forum, people don't normally get told off for it, only Matt. :D

car isnt as bad as they thaught according to sf

 

SWs car seems to be ok, checking tires for flat spots, making sure everything cleaned up and intact, hopefully to run again soon, the car made it back to the pits in its own power after the incident.

 

others have done 202 and 195
