Sometimes the basics are the hardest - Dos command help

Im struggling with something I shouldnt be :D

 

I have a Dos file script pulling some netstats that I need etc... and im importing into an SQL database fine etc... and im displaying in a refreshing web page etc... Great

 

Now all i want to do is run a Dos command to save the current logged on user to a txt file...and im failing :cry:

 

I know the variable is %username% as i can get it to screen I just cant get in to the file....Im really having a major brain block :(

 

anyone know the answer
