MaveriK
Have some spin.... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/9112052.stm He can talk it anyway he wants but he is off for money or because he doesnt like warming the bench due to form. We have won a trophy a year for the last six, yeah, that shows no ambition. If thats his type of loyalty he can shovel it up his rear. On the plus side tonights team talk has already been done as he has back handedly slapped SAF and the squad in the face. Rumour his ankle injury on the training pitch was from a ginger ninja Scholesy tackle, GET IT!!!

Abz
I loved all the Facebook updated status from Manchester United fans who were "angry" that Rooney is leaving, they are expecting him to stay and like the OP says they feel like he owes them something! The best thing of all most of the updates status were from friends in London...yep, they all live in London and support "Manchester" United Anyway, I personally think he is a brilliant, well talented player... his having a rough time of it lately. When he was reaching his peak, he got thrown off and put on the back bench for some bloke that stood near the goal & cried if you didn't pass it to his correct foot or feel over as soon as the wind changed. Manchester United fans adored him... well until he was leaving. Now Rooney... I say he joins City!

neo2810
I love armchair warriors. Since none of you have declared an insider at man utd as your source of info, I'll assume you're all reading into the tabs and adding conjecture. Fools Maybe he doesn't want to play for the American fools in charge? Anyway, we're shortly looking at a vacant no 9 shirt, he can come and drink with, I mean play for us! Guest dayofJUDGEMENT
They should get the money these players earn and pay the wages of nurses and others who perform acts for the public! Disgrace that they get paid so much and are driven by greed.

Disgrace that they get paid so much and are driven by greed. But that is not the fault of the players - they will accept whatever someone is prepared to pay them. Lets put it this way, if someone offered you (or me) a stupid amount of money to do the jobs we do it is highly unlikely we would refuse. Would you (or the general population) pay to watch a channel dedicated to nurses at work? Or pay to go to a hospital to see them as a leisure activity. Or buy nurses related merchandise? I can't see many companies sponsoring nurses. Ok, so there are some scenarios where people would buy nurse related items, or pay to watch on TV but I think in general, not.
