Yup hes not signing and told fergie he wants out.

Fergie sounded like he was going to cry on the radio. As a liverpool fan i cant say im really upset. Hearing the Utd fans calling him names saying he owes utd is a joke. If anyone he owes everton, whom he left as soon as he worked out how much he could get at Utd.

I wonder how long the Utd fans will put up with the current owners and the now 400m+ debt on the club that seems to have cost them thier last good player.

Please god let him go to city:d

Rooney is an overpriced overhyped monkey with the morals of an alley cat. And this is a role model for the young. He's a freaking idiot who happens to be famous because he plays football. Couldnt care less what happens to the idiot

Hmmmm, same could said for most of the players...... (not a football fan so purely here for the wind up)

I wonder where Rooney would be now if he hadn't scored that goal for Everton against Arsenal.

I don't see the big deal with Rooney, there's alot better strikers in the Prem than Rooney, Fergie should have tried to keep Tevez and let Rooney go IMO.

Thats the rub, he is worth all this money and he is still an idiot. PS I am a Burnley supporter, always have and always will. PPS my great uncle played for Liverpool

The truth about this affair is in the divorce. As it stands, Coleen will get half of Wayne’s money – and a fair amount, if not half, of his future earnings. But if Wayne signs an agreement similar to what Tevez signed with Media Investment – i.e. separating his economic rights and such away from his earnings, he can keep a large part of what he gets from another club. Manchester United hate such deals. So Rooney, or at least Paul Stretford, will need to find a club that will accept it. Choosing Spain will help too.

well my 2p worth

Whatever happens can only diminish it for the England team.

Lets look what is happening at Utd (and yes I'm a fan) seriously in debt (Glaziers), not going to win anything (fergie) No newer players and a team that has drawn to many games already.

Unlike Liverpool (and no arguements please) at least we are still not in a relegation fight because the players don't care (other than Stevie G, who is immense)

Now lets look at England, we have an Italian manger who wants away and will keep playing the wrong team until he gets away with his payoff from the FA of our hard earned cash.

An England team who promises much and delivers nothing. A system which makes us play all year long and not give our players any rest.

So Rooney shagged about and got caught, I bet a few on here could testify to that. I guess a few on here like a drink (where is Dave when you need him ;))

Rooney going to Spain doesn't help the Premier league or England.

My only hope is he stays and starts playing again. If his wife forgives him fine, if not, bin her, she is a celebrity in her own right now and can earn enough to keep her going.

This is the whole indicative of Football in the UK, someone does wrong is slated and everyone has a go.

Gone is national pride, gone are the days when if England were playing it was about England, how many times have you been watching a game and the slurs "oh he plays for Arsenal" or "if it wasn't for Chelsae we would have lost"

Its about England for fecks sake

After all words from a game

"I'M ENGLISH TILL I DIE"

sorry mate - Rant over....

Eh?? So he's won no silverware in the last 23 or whatever years? he's more than capable of winning stuff, the team isnt :)

actually only 21 years. won nothing for the 1st 3 years.

honestly think (and may come back to bite me) but league is over.

CL and FA still possible as not played so much yet. But I do believe we are back in transition and need to re-build. Biggest loss so far was Tevez. Ronaldo was money well taken. Can't sell Rooney as we need to be building a team. IMHO of course and only that
