They actually wanted to do it with me awake:blink: My Father in law had a catheter put in, awake, while he was recovering from a stroke. The male nurse had a bit of trouble getting in it and at one point asked the FIL to "just relax" Relax??? dude Posted October 20, 2010 Author Share Posted October 20, 2010 Back in Hospital all morning as I now have an infection so taking a piss now feels like passing acid!!!! so painfull I actually ended up on the bathroom floor with tears in my eyes:blink: Still packed off home with some strong painkillers and Anti Biotics, hopefully back in work tomorrow.
