These are bargain basement "beaters" as KDW would say...:D

Finding a good unabused, undamaged car is still a rarity.!!

Chill, I just spent 10K on mine after I put the new tyres and exhaust on, it's only money and you can't take it with you....:D

NA's of that standard have been that low for a while. The cars at that price have had knocks, need new windscreens, have no MOTs or Tax, have very bad body work, rips in seats etc.. Basically things that won't take much to fix but put off potential buyers so the price has to be low to atract them. If you could be bothered you could probably buy £2k cars and do £300-500 of work and sell on for £3k lots of times.

I can't be bothered for that small profit though.

If the paint job on the first one is good then I reckon its a good price. Lovely colour. Second one I'd leave well alone, the pictures are crap and you can still tell the paint is bad.

The paint on the first one looks super dull on the bonnet.

Saying that 2.2k for a manual one is good

I disagree:

"Paint work good from a distance, imperfections in some places (not perfect)" - If you read his eBay listing I think it actually says that it badly needs a respray.

"when you open the bonnet there is light damage to the left when i bought the car."
