fun car

I didn't know Paul had done one. I was just thinking of what cars I'd like to have a play in, and I thought I'd like the MR2 but there's not enough power.. then saw that ;)

Not terribly expensive either really.

350Z's are starting at 12K now too. Not much potential for power increases there though :(

never mind the mr2... a 350z for 12k :omg:

would never part with the supe :woot:

yeah I know but i'm just saying it as a sign of things to come.. fair-quality TT Supes were fetching 11k about 2yrs ago.. when they were 9yrs old. 2yr old 350Z's are starting at 12k so I reckon in a few more years they'll be peanuts :)

edit: actually, it's a 1yr old 350z!

I'd take it for 12K! I know a guy who has a supercharged 350Z, or did anyway. He put it in for its service with Nissan and the guy driving it blew it up!!

He's now bought second hand engine form a wrecked one, that after much deliberation, Nissan will fit for him for free. He's selling the 5K supercharger kit now.

Did you know there is a twin turbo 350z in existence. It has been on the rolling road but I can't remember the figures it was producing. Impressive thou.

Just picked up a brand new 350z a lot of fun to drive and its filling the hole before the Supra comes back from having its bodykit fitted and respray. :)

yeah there are a few twin-turbo kits for the 350z now, and a few SC kits too. as I understand it the turbo conversions have to be twin-turbo because it's a split manifold (two banks of three) or whatever. 'cause it's a Vee engine anyway.

APS twin turbo conversion on relatively stock internals costs circa £6 - 8k and will deliver 430 bhp converting to 370 ish at the wheels.

There are a few Superchargers on the go at the moment including one very notable DIY job .......

http://350zuk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8232&hl=

Can't remember what that does to the bhp.

£21k sounds good for a one year old UK spec car but £12k sounds very cheap even for a Jap car ...... I am reliably informed that there might well be an APS 350 Twin Turbo with the 350's at JAE if anyone is interested in a gander ..... you never know what else you might find there too :eyebrows: :eyebrows: :eyebrows: :eyebrows:

Don't say that, you'll have me looking at a trade in and I've only had the car a week

The 350 is nice if anyone is interested, I appreciate this might not be the place to bes aying things like that but if my other half will ever let me drive her Supra I might be able to comment on comparisons between the two :limp:

Heard that nissan are bringing out a gtr version of the

350z soon, to commerate 35yrs or so of the z-car.

Will be a ltd edition obviously, something in the region

of 400bhp, twin turbos.

Nope. Its not a 350Z, nor a Skyline. Its a brand new model going soley by the name of GT-R, and is due in 2007.............
