hi hit my speed limiter today, have looked at several threads on subject. speedo is reading in MPH so do i have two seperate gadgets fitted? was under car other day and saw wires and taped conections around gear box tunnel area! Speedo was reading just above 120mph when it kicked in just after changing into top, friend on site said hes changes up to top at about 115 so guessing all alright with the speedo side of things.

In reply to myself, have now found the information I need. looks like i have a gear box mounted speedo convertor only. And the Thor 2 in 1 is the way to go "Great". Not "Great" out of stock, and found threads saying they dont do them anymore! Ideas anybody.

limiter will be 112mph, so your speedo is over-reading a little bit with 120mph (or down to larger wheel/tyre radius).

I also heard the Thor units are difficult to get now, but since you already have the speedo conversion working, why not just get a delimiter chip? These can be wired in near the ECU.

There are "cheap" units available on eBay, although might be better to pay little more, (e.g. HKS, Greddy)
