Guest rcarm Posted October 16, 2010 Share Posted October 16, 2010 Hi Guys I have been to look at a couple of supras recently as i recently sold my 3rd and last ever BMW money pit! [ANGRY][/ANGRY]anyway, I went to see a 1993 3.0 n/a supra today. it had an engine swap (37,000 on the clock now) earlier this year. he wants 3,500 for it. It looks great but is a bit rattly inside, to be expected with such an old car, i know. took it for a drive earlier and it drove fine, except for a really squeaky clutch pedal and a whinning noise at high revs. Is this normal? I consider myself pretty clued up on BMW mechanics, (have stripped down engines etc) but have zero experience with Jap cars. Any general advice about buying a supra would be great.
