jackso11
there seems to be 2 front and 2 rear ones, all different prices and part numbers. Anyone know the denso part number for a J-spec sensor?
jackso11
nobody know? I dont understand why there are 4 types when the UK spec has 2 and the J-spec has
Keefred
The first and the last link are both for part number Dox-0110, I have just spent an hour looking for denso - toyota part number conversions etc and cannot find the part number for the N/a sensor 89465-19615 listed on any of them as a Dox number or a 247- number or whatever. There is a site http://www.sparkplugs.co.uk that lists the first and last at £30 each and the 2 in the middle at £48 each, much cheaper than the e bay ones, wether they are real Denso items its hard to tell. I think Toyota own Denso anyway so you would think this information would be much easier to find ?
jackso11
yeah I am sure Denso is owned by toyota, when you buy lots of OEM parts they come from denso. No idea which one I need but I am sure mine is rubbish, I get through far more petrol than I should. Just looked at that spark plugs site, they only sell UK spec sensors. Nic
UK and export Supras have front and a rear O2 sensors. There are different part numbers for each Supra model. 89465-19635 Oxygen Sensor - J-spec TT 89465-19725 Oxygen Sensor - J-spec TT VVTi 89465-19605 Oxygen Sensor - Front - UK Spec 89465-19595 Oxygen Sensor - Rear - UK Spec 89465-19615 Oxygen Sensor - NA x 2 Pic of a genuine Toyota sensor for a 2JZ-GTE (non-VVTi). http://img509.imageshack.us/img509/6194/p1020548mf8.jpg
jackso11
what is the difference between each of them?
Nic
what is the difference between each of them? There are no obvious differences between the TT ones, the NA sensor only has a single wire. Because of the different part numbers there must be some difference between the TT sensors otherwise they would have standardise the part number across all models as they do with other parts. What that difference are I have no idea.
Keefred
After another 2 hour search I found a 2009 Denso book, according to that the only 2 listed are. 89465-19605 = Dox-0228 89465-19595 = Dox-0227 The Dox-0110 seems to be a universal one as it says it fits a supra (nato) 3.0 and Carina e, celica, Rav 4 etc
imi
So do we know which of the Denso sensors is applicable to a Jspec TT.
Tricky-Ricky
If they fit, and have the correct number of sensor and heater wires, any lambda will be OK, as they are all calibrated the same, as for the second sensor, i have never seen two lambdas on a Jspec TT, the second is just a cat over-temp sensor which is a way of telling if the cat is shot. imi
would be nice if we could find the denso part number for the jspec TT Been on Denso's website and there is no reference to 19635 which is very strange, have dropped them an email to check. http://www.densoaftermarket.com/catalog/cross-reference.php?cross=Oxygen+Sensor Edited November 12, 2010 by imi (see edit history)
imi
Right - Denso have no record of the Jspec TT O2 Sensor........2008_DENSO_O2_Catalog_-_Cross_Reference.pdf
Suprab1
Right - Denso have no record of the Jspec TT O2 Sensor........ They also have no record of MN153156 which is a o2 sensor from an Evo 7. I wouldn't mind but the o2 sensor i got for the Evo is a genuine Denso part

Keefred
Excellent, it certainly seems to be, there are some on e bay in the Usa with a list of fitments that does say Na, cannot find any for sale in the Uk though.
