changing dual mass flywheel to solid flywheel

In the progress of taking my dual mass flywheel out, as its slipping.

Thinking about putting a solid flywheel in, will it take the same clutch?(center plate and pressure plate)

This is a 6 speed v161 n-a

We had this done on one of the merc sprinter vans, It needed a different clutch and now drives like a bag of s%$£, really rattly, if your doing 30-35 you now need to stay in 3rd rather than forth, etc

Just buy an LUK from somewhere like andrew pages or euro parts. Cheaper and exactly the same as the toyota DMF.... Why, because LUK make them for toyota anyway, toyota just stamp a badge on it somewhere.

I would keep the OEM Toyota dual mass flywheel and stock clutch. The only difference a solid flywheel will make is to make the car sound like a bag of spanners when idling. The stock clutch is the smoothest and quietest option.

Just whilst the gearbox is out, what the best option is for the future.

Out of interest, would the standed clutch fit something like this. I know it says it does, but weather it actually would is anouther question lol.

Best option for what future? What benefit are you expecting from fitting a lightened flywheel?

Just a quick question on my flywheel, when turning it, there's about 3 teeth worth of movement, then goes hard to move, using a some force to turn from then, it still turns, but shouldn't it be turning the engine over ?
