SupraDan24
For those of you who didnt know, Borderlands GOTY edition is out today for around £25 with ALL the downloadable content. I played the shiznit out of this game when it was first released before COD drew me to the dark side. Me and a cpl of my mates are buying this today and playing co-op (4 player free roam). This game visually is amazingly cool, great gameplay and charecters and more weapons than you can shake a preverbial stick at. Definately one for people who liked Fallout. Watch the trailer guys and let me know what you think. CdBFWti6mkg

Thorin
I'm considering this. It's only £15 from play for the PC version http://www.play.com/Games/PC/4-/16245554/Borderlands-Game-Of-The-Year-Edition/Product.html Yet it's £30 on steam, and for the games consoles. SupraDan24
Its not really vehicle based, its more scavenging and blowing sh*t up Its great fun jackso, well worth the money. @edd: It's just all the downloadable content and the map mate, if you have ALL the DLC then i'd get the standard game which is £17 if you dont already have it. I can confirm as i picked it up today for the Xbox for £30. Worth it though, seeing as the DLC is worth more than that alone.
Ian C
This game is the business Played through it several times now, just about to do the Claptrap DLC Co-op, hours of missions, and SHINY SHINY GUNS, the kit fever is unbelievable. Grab a friend or two and get going, it's enormous fun. The one thing I'd say though, is don't do all the side missions otherwise you end up several levels ahead of the bad guys and it becomes too easy. Make sure you stay equal or 1/2 levels behind to get the best challenge.

SupraDan24
But I like going of exploring and doing every last side mission Me too I like being stronger than my opponants some times aswell, takes the stress out of the game. Its still a challenging game regardless. Co-op mode is the business on this. Just a note, for anyone wanting to play this Co-Op, get the Xbox version, the PS3 co-op doesnt work
The-Plethora
Anyone play this CO-OP on PC anymore? I only had a quick go when it came out and seemed to remember finding public games was painful and you had to manually configure it if your PC was past a router. I set it up and got a couple of friends to play but dont head much about it online. Is the downloadable content worth getting for PC? I have the steam version. I played a lot of it online with a mate 50 miles away in evenings after work, it was great apart from there is no push-to-talk, so you can hear your team mate eating crisps. caseys
I must pick this back up, I gave it a few hours and wasn't impressed. Huge fan of on-line co-op of this ilk generally as I played Resistance Fall of Man 2 co-op to death. May get the GOTY edition or just wait for Resistance 3.. hmm. Ah yes I remember that, when I was playing it with just a couple of friends we just used the standard steam push to talk voice chat and disabled it in the game. Still nothing can be as bad as voice chat on the X Box 360!

Aweegin
Awesome game...a total surprise! Bought it ages ago and loved it. Just got addicted to it from the go-get...huge map(s)...LOTS of weaponry..great fun online. Up to 4 people online co-op..but the enemies get tougher each time someone joins (relative to the hosts xp level). Hours n hours of value...Just buy it
caseys
Someone told me that the GOTY PC version also then allows you to download the demo of Duke Nukem Forever ? Can't find clarification of that yet though
Aweegin
... the demo of Duke Nukem Forever ? Isn't that game just legend and rumours? I heard that after the company who makes it got bought out, went pear shaped or whatever...it was just deemed as 'never to happen' with the promo vid just being smoke and mirrors.. Would love to be proven wrong though!!!! I got singularly excited when i bought a sexybox and found a 2d 'Nukem' game on the arcade store lol
