Tannhauser
So I noticed again that Thorin's website is kulthea.net, which sounds like an Indian goddess, and that made me think of Indian women doing that weird side-to-side thing with their heads when they dance, and wondering if it hurt. Which made me think about what a tortoise does when its head retracts. Does its neck buckle or fold? And that's exactly the question the scientist asks in Vonnegut's Cat's Cradle. Which makes me wonder why Cat's Cradle is called that: why a cat, exactly, as opposed to some other creature? That leads me onto evolution, and then Richard Dawkins, who I was discussing with someone at work today and they pointed out what a big forehead he has. 'You think that's a big forehead.' I said, and showed them a picture of B.F. Skinner, who wrote Walden II which was based on Walden, written by Henry David Thoreau. And that name reminds of Thorin. Which makes me wonder about Thorin's website, kulthea.net....

I was thinking that. It would have taken all my strength not to chuck a rock down there to scare them and just hope no one was standing under the hole. James
I hate not being able to find things with the correct interface. It's a nightmare! All I want to do is import a midi file which I created in one program into another so that I can assign real sound samples to the super mario-esque midi tones. If program number 1 had the real sound engine I'd be sorted. If program number 2 wasn't riddled with problems such as creating a master tempo then I'd be sorted. It is at times like this that I wish I knew how to write programs.

Purity14
I'm wondering if choosing a random thought to post on here means that it isn't random at all. It can't be random, because you are preferencing it above any other statement you could have potentially made.

Animal
How many skittles would it take to fill a standard bath.. A standard bath is around 9 cubic feet. A Skittle is approximately 0.39 cubic centimeters. A standard bath = 254 851.619 33 cubic centimeter therefore: 653,466 Skittles would fill a bath tub. So, assuming there are approximately 400 skittles in a 16 oz bag, you would need 1,634 bags. Good luck. How bloody bored am I?
