Robzki
Hi all Just a quick question regarding the number of feeds I can tee into on one pressure/vacuum pipe. At the moment I have a greddy profec A taking its boost pressure reading from the back of the plenum, I'm using the unused point used originally for the stock bov as this hard pipe ends on the turbo side of the engine. I assume this is ok? I have then tee'd into this to get a reading on the mech' boost gauge which seems to work fine. I now need another boost reference for my plx devices boost module. Is it ok to tee into the same pipe for the boost gauge/boost controller? effectively taking 3 feeds from one place. I assume it would be ok but I'm unsure whether it would effect the speed/accuracy that the above get a reading. Thanks Rob
Digsy
In theory it should be OK provided that: a) There is no actual flow through any of the hoses. b) The "tee on a tee on a tee" arrangement doesn't create a pressure drop. My girlfriend's Volvo has a part called a "vacuum manifold" on it which is a tiny plenum with several vac take offs on it and one reference feed from the intake manifold itself. It might be worth seeing if you can find something similar. It doesn't want to be too large, though, otherwise you will introduce a delay. I hadn't thought of that. I have a nice fish tank air splitter in stainless, it has 1 in and 3 out from what I remember. I'll go dig it out Thanks again Rob

mwilkinson
I have one the old MKivstore, vacuum plenums in my car. Very handy and keeps the bay free from stray pipes. Is polished with Supra embossed on it.
