JS2004
Recently got hold of a UK spec bonnet with a scoop on - needs some work so I am going to get it resprayed soon. Been thinking about the scoop itself though and about what others may have done. I will probably end up spraying it black along with the rest of the bonnet - but interested to see what a carbon wrapped one looks like on a black bonnet (I probably wont like it though). Would be interesting to see what other kind of experimental things people have done, such as painting it a different colour. Anyone got any pics? Tried a search but theres millions of results when you put "carbon" and theyre usually for bonnets or dash etc.

JS2004
The scoop and two side vents does look really nice. Could be something I go for, just need to check the bodyshop know what theyre doing and I dont end up with non symmetrical vents! Are they following the same lines as a TRD bonnet or would that go through support structures? The lip near windscreen could look good. I find the plastic part that it would partly conceal tends to go a bit white and have not found anything to take it back to black yet. Not keen on the bonnet pins though. Dave (Supraloopy) on here cut them, and sprayed the car, he is the best man to ask on that mate
j_jza80
I mix paints at work, And some of the classiest colours I've seen are some of the greens in Aston Martins range. Sage Green and Chiltern green being my favourites Would look great on a Supra.

JS2004
Thats certainly different but I am not very keen on that one . I Prefer to keep it stock looking with a slight subtle, but well done twist.

JS2004
Interesting ones them - I need something that keeps the UK scoop though as thats to be the main feature of the bonnet, with any additional features done to enhance it. I think I will be asking them what type of cutting they have done on other bonnets to gauge if they can pull something TRDish off or not. Right off to bed! thanks the ideas chaps!
