Suprash
SuprAsh has one fitted in his drift car, but I think he had to cut a gear lever hole. I have just cut a hole for now, this is do-able in my drift car because Im not really running any centre console round the gear stick at the moment. Has anyone fitted the R154 box to a mkiv in the uk? Yup, I have Steve we need to discuss shifter extensions and filters I have a chap in Milton Keynes that can extend anyones 154 shifter to fit the MKIV for £175, you send him your bits with a self addressed envelope with the extact measurement you want it extended by and he'll do it and post it all back for you But to re-cap you'll need: R154 gearbox R154 to 1/2j bellhousing R154 slave R154 clutch and flywheel Front half of R154 prop Rear half of 2j prop Then you'll need to get the 2 props cut and shut. You'll also need to make a new gearbox mount for the R154. Then extend the gearshift.

Suprash
Have you fitted the r154 to a NA or TT? If its on a TT what clutch and flywheel did you go for? Its on a NA, I used the stock MKIII clutch and flywheel as the NA and 154 have the same spline pattern, the TT is different.

They should be mate..... W58 and R154 are the same diam and spline count. Its just the TT6's that are on their own........ Fancy selling the flywheel and clutch ? Or details of where you got it ? Swampy442
Got a guy on the case for extensions now Tried my original contacts and he said its such a bitch of a job he'd want 300 quid just to consider it lol. I teed the other guy up for several extensions so we should have enough to go round. Just need to supply a length so anyone have an idea on how long the extension should be?
