what would be best for bpu set up mate

The Single would be fine, It really depends upon what face unit you prefer, The Dual has more functions but it depends if you need them. Follow the links on both to see the full specifications mate.

The dual is capable of holding more boost and NOS.

I had a single solanoid before and it was struggling on my 2.5tt at even 1.2, i had over boost problems and it was very unstable, since installing a dual solanoid on the same controller its been perfect no boost spikes and holds a steady 1.3 easy.

So id say dual solanoid is the 1 to go for.

My controller is a blitz icolour.

Cheers for that LN, Was that with BPU because if single it does depend on the size and pre set spring rate of the wastegate as to what Boost it can hold.

Just normal small twins mate, it used to struggle on my uk tt6 also but held 1.3 just about.

Since i have the 2.5 for some reason the single solanoid was really struggling to hold 1.2 but since having the dual sol its been a total change, the power comes in alot better and also seems smoother so perhaps there might have been a fault with the single sol.

I have now gone twin hybrid (turbo technics) and its still holding very well but i cant push them until i change my baby 380cc injectors.

Wont the std J spec 440 or even mk3 single turbo 1JZ 440's with resistor pack give you more fuelling for cheap £? I picked up some mk3 440's on the mk3 forums for my N/A-T 2JZ for £40

The boost figures are interesting but of course may be different on your 1JZ. I have no experience of tuning these engines. I have heard of peeps using the 2.5TT 1JZ for Sprint and Drift racing as it is revvier and more responsive, All depends on ultimate power goals i guess.

Cheers
