Hi, need a little help i have a blitz nur spec exhaust system with the second decat pipe attached, can i fit this with out fitting a restrictor ring and boost controller will it be ok to fit to uk spec supe with the first cat still on the car, thanks

Yes perfectly ok to fit, although you may need to drill and tap the decat pipe to fit the second oxygen sensor on a UK spec, if it doesn't already have a boss fitted.

The boost should stay the same so you will not need a Fuel Cut Defender.

out of interest will it also be ok on a jap spec

You'd have to try it and see, you may get a slight rise in the boost pressure, the first cat is quite restrictive so should keep boost levels down to a point.

If it went above 1bar then you would need a FCD fitting to prevent fuel cut. If it did rise above 1bar forcing more exhaust gases through the 1st cat could cause the exhaust gas temps (pre turbo) to rise to a dangerous level.

It's difficult give a definitive answer as it will vary depending on the car, the decat pipe and exhaust. If I was to guess I'd say it'll probably raise the boost to around 0.9bar which should be okay.
