pedrosixfour
In need of the following: TT PS Pump suction hose and union.
Chris Wilson
You should definitely buy a new suction hose, they go hard and don't seal on the unions properly, and draw air, making the pump noisy and the steering notchy. I don't think they are very dear.
pedrosixfour
Chances are I may be forced to buy both parts new Chris as I can't imagine they are parts people find they have a couple of spare.

pedrosixfour
I ordered these parts new today from Toyota, along with six coil plug connectors and a pair of cam cover gaskets for the 1JZ. Total was €120 plus 21% VAT, which isn't too bad at all. So don't come along now and tell me you have one sitting in the garage that I'm welcome to! pedrosixfour
Chris Wilson is sorting me out with an ignitor pack shortly and I've just ordered a fair quantity of silicone hoses in various shapes and sizes, hose joiners, mikalor clips and a little bit of ducting to see if I can't make use of the NA airbox that I have to sort out a cold filtered air feed to the turbos and a boosted air feed through the SMIC to the manifold. I hope this works!
pedrosixfour
TT Ignitor arrived today Chris. Thank you very much indeed sir. Any luck on the sump plug adaptor?

pedrosixfour
Time to bump this thread again as I'm looking for the extra diff mount which secures the diff to the subframe in a turbo model but which was felt (by Toyota) to be unnecessary in a non turbo model. As I'm now running a 1JZ I feel this might now be a worthwhile investment. Thanks for looking and I hope someone can help.

pedrosixfour
I may have a stepper motor, would need to test it on a car though. Well I may be hung like a donkey Chris but what the devil does either have to do with a diff mount for my subframe??
Chris Wilson
You tell me! God knows what's happened here Anyway, you well endowed Irishman, do you want a stepper motor or not?
little num
Im going to get some 10mm plates made up and weld them into the holes (getting rid of the rubber mounts) so it will be bolted still but a fixed rear as its worn bush's that cause wheel hop and i have lot of that due to 1 bush and thats all split. Chris Wilson
Do you still need a PAS reservoir? I don't have any OE ones, but have some nice fabricated alloy tanks with Aeroquip threaded male stubs and fabricated lightweight steel brackets that would work well as a PAS tank or coolant header tanks. Could be polished to look blingy

I was thinking of doing/getting something similar myself mate if a good used mount couldn't be found. But even if I could get my hands on an old shot unit it would be handy for taking accurate measurements from to get a pair made. Do you still need a PAS reservoir? Forgive the messy thread, I always update the first post with whats currently needed.
