d_d
Hi Guys Car failed yesterday on lambda reading it recorded 1.153 and the limit was 1.030 (TT) i had the 2nd cat in place at the time. The car has been stood for 4 months, I took it straight for the test which is about a 15 min drive. Does anyone think i should of given it a bit of stick considering the cat converter been lieing in the top of the garage for 12 months. Had a new sensor about 2 yrs ago. is this worth cleaning? Idle seems a bit low at times atm not sure if its because its not really been used. Id like to take it to a specialist in worcestershire if anyone knows of someone please let me know Thankyou

RobD
Perhaps try resetting the ECU.
d_d
The battery has been dead for a bit, just charged it up the other day. Is it still worth disconnecting? Think im gonna have to get some injector cleaner into the tank, and a good blast, and hope for the best?
Nic
Was it the oxygen sensor you changed and did you use an OEM Toyota one?
d_d
The sensor just before the 1st decat. Bought it in one of your group buys i think.
Nic
The sensor just before the 1st decat. Bought it in one of your group buys i think. Cool, that shouldn't be an issue after just 2 years. As has already been suggested, I would disconnect the battery to reset the ECU and then take it out for a good ride out before getting it rechecked.
