kill1308
So anyone else feel mixed emotions when selling their Supra? It's not driven off yet but the deal is done. Normally I don't get attached to cars, but I still feels strange to think it's going.... sad eh ! My choice to sell though, getting a Range Rover which is a bit of contrast to a Supra I know Be back with a single turbo or a nice RX7 next year though for sure once winter's out the way
Havard
Yep, felt and still feel like I maybe made a mistake letting her go. Even though i have new one I still feel surprised when I see the Gunmetal one outside and not the White NA..... H.

Abz
I regret selling mine, and I mean all 6 of them, big mistake Do you think their will be a 7th? Mine will be up for sale this weekend, never has it taken me so long to make a decision about selling a car. Not only do I feel quite attached to it, so is my wife & funnily enough my little sisters. kill1308
Yeah it's weird, when I sold all other cars I wasn't bothered at all. The Supra definitely leaves a mark on you that's for sure. Still, not like I can never buy another one.
tooquicktostop
So learning your lesson doesn't come easy then Dean? No, I have said it before, I have owned, loved and built some cool cars to then sell them on for a loss, big regrets I think for a while I owned a car and the thrill was the challenge to make it better/faster and when this was achieved I either wanted more power or I felt the job was done and a new challenge was needed, no more, now I keep them I remember my Camaro, when I brought it it was run down, many electrics not working and a poor running engine, 6 months later and many ££££'s it was running really well, sounded amazing through a one off stainless exhaust and was a real head turner, but as the project was "finished" i lost interest and sold it before I got to enjoy it, lesson learn't indeed

Yes but it would have to be a reliable well respected big single from a member on here, nothing else would do and it would stop me spending a fortune going single AGAIN !! Vicky
I sold mine recently but it took me 9 months to actually put it up for sale, I was gutted watching it go but I'm saving for another one already but the next one will be better and faster
pistonbroke
I've owned tons of cars, and selling them never seemed to be an issue. I was always selling to get something better. However, when I sold my first supra, I was genuinly gutted. I sold it due to a growing family, not to upgrade (after all, what else is there worth getting?). When I got around to buying myself another car, I bought a semi sensible 4 door......an Impreza WRX Sti UK jobbie, hated it, sold it within 3 months. Thought about buying another supra, but thought there's no way I'll get one as nice as the one I had and I'll end up being dissapointed, so I bought an S2000, got bored of that pretty quick too. Then I took the plunge and decided to just get another supra, and spend loads on it making it super special. Thats where I am now, loving it . I'll not be selling this car any time soon, and it's replacement when the time comes, will have to be very very special
barneybrendan
do you think its because of the amount of time you put into a car.I cant see me selling mine as a lot of hours have gone into making it mine so to speak.

Though when you are selling your Supra Dan, you have to give me first dibbs along with Chris's one!
martini
I sold my car to a great chap, but it hurt selling her. I still miss the car, and if I weren't going to Japan next year, then I would never had sold her.
