SamuraiFlash
Hi Lee, Will your FMIC kits enable me to keep the stock air box? Thanks
Lee P
No the pipe work would get in the way, you may be able to modify it to work around it.
tony1
No the pipe work would get in the way, you may be able to modify it to work around it. Does that apply to all FMIC? I am looking to get a FMIC soon and was hoping i can still use the stock air box with my K&N panel filter.

Think it does mate as one of the intercooler pipes runs into the drivers side wing where the air box would/does!

Rob_Mitchell
hey lee, can you supply the pipe work to marry up to a greddy manifold setup? or is this kit ok.
Lee P
Greddy do a pipe kit which replaces the 2 pipes from the intercooler to the q45 and will mate up to this intercooler fine.

Robzki
Fitted my srd front intercooler kit a couple of weeks ago. excellent kit for the money, also great service from Lee I know very little about the efficiency of intercoolers, I have fitted an intake air sensor in the intercooler pipework post turbo and then another in the throttle body just for my information On the m'way on the way to japfest at 'healthy' speeds I was seeing 65-70degree post turbo and 20-25degrees in the throttle body. As I say I know nothing about efficiency but these seem very good to me, the ambient temperature was probably getting on for 15degrees. with the amont of air flowing through this intercooler I am amazed at the 40 degree drop in intake temps. A great fmic that comes highly rated by me

Kazuma
Hey, quick question Lee, would this be suitable for a NA as a nice upgrade before a single turbo conversion?
Lee P
Hey, quick question Lee, would this be suitable for a NA as a nice upgrade before a single turbo conversion? You will need an intercooler for your turbo conversion but there is no need or benifit to have one on an NA. You would have to modify the pipe work as well as this is designed for a TT and the intake manifold position is different to the NA-T
