Kilps
Nothing wrong with being to the point. Think about 'Just Tyres'... they're doing alright! I like 'The Tyre Shop', stick with it.

Lbm
The Tyre Shop is to the point. You wouldn't go there to buy a hamster. Or even a cheese sandwich. It's good.

Josh
Keep it as it is, it's a good name Although saying that there's a shop called "Just Tyres" on my way home and I've never even looked at the front of the shop on the way past. Now if it were called "Road Rubber" with a picture of Road Runner doing a burnout I may have a look. All depends on the reputation you have and how the business is going. I'd say stay with it
SupraHuman
Keep it dude, road rubber sounds more like you're doing community service clearing old jonnys from various motorways and byroads.
kill1308
When I was in Spain there was a shop called "The Shop" lol.... not very imaginative, couldn't confuse it for any other type of business though that's for sure. I think the name is fine.
