Oddball87
Would this be too cheap? anyone have any experience of ebay gasket sets? Engine Gasket Set cheers matt
mwilkinson
Why would you buy this in all honesty. Toyota sell their own, I know it's pricey but it's your engine your talking about. I would doubt they are of a similar quality to the OEM gasket set.
hodge
I personally wouldn't put any gaskets in my engine apart from genuine Toyota parts, it's not worth the trouble if they fail for a few quid saving.
monsween
As above I can't believe your even considering it. IIRC it's around 300 for a full gasket kit for the supra
Nic
The set being sold is the head rebuild kit, not the complete engine gasket set.
Dnk
Stick with o/e, i didn't think they were seriously expensive from Toyota anyway
dwayne
another thing to be carefull of is that many non original head gaskets dont have the water and oil channels cut out of them correctly (position and sizes). you might get away with some of the gaskets but as said above, its never worth the risk tbh

Abz
As above, straight from Mr T himself. You could call Steve Manley to see if he can get you a discount (search his name).

trinitom
don't know the quality on this set, but a few years back i got a engine gasket set from ebay for my Integra at around £60, i replaced the head gasket and a few more and never had any problems, after 3 years the car still runs sweet. comorin219
i did an GT4 engine rebuild for someone who got the kit from the same seller, although the kit proved ok,and is still going strong ,he also got the head bolts from there which were shocking to say the least a few of the bolts had no torx heads & the ones that did were so far off centre of the bolt that they would of probably snapped when being torqued down. seem to remember the kits are made in Spain. Would,nt use them
