johnny g
If that's the criteria then perhaps Stella might have the edge, however if Sugar is looking for creativity and innovation then I believe its Chris over Stella. Nothing wrong with making a few mistakes along the way......we're all human and not robots - yet Plus he is well educated, articulate, 24 and very polished which suits the business environment extremely well. Both have strengths and weaknesses, right candidates for the final - IMO. He is a crashing bore though - and people tend to switch off. Stella all the way and Liz to appear in Heat Magazine topless. ivan
By the way AS nearly responded to Stuart's "I made all my money on my own with no help from anyone" boast, I reckon he knows something about him that hasn't come out yet. Hopefully it will come out next week. ... - almost as if SirAlan kinda knew that was coming up so didnt sack him the week before! {smug mode on} Told you so. {Smug mode off}
stevie_b
I'm in the minority here (and I know the interviewers found him boring) but I've never found Chris to be a bore at all. I find him less of a spin doctor than most of the other candidates. His talking is less dramatic than most of the others, but when they talk it tended to be an emotional speech to big themselves up, and explain why they are great and the problems around them are not their fault. Whiners, basically. I don't include Stella in the whiners, so it should be an interesting contest next week.

Matt H
I definately think the right two are in the final. Maybe things would be different if Liz was still in the mix. I loved the line 'Stuart, you're full of sh!t'. Brilliant! prob you guys have seen this before... but it is funny I can't watch YouTube at work, but if that's 'cassette boy vs the bloody apprentice', it's the second funniest thing I've ever seen on the web. The fist being the 'saw 4' trailer.
Charlotte
I liked it when Stuart said he was a big fish and the interviewer was like 'err you're not even in the pond, you're not even a fish' Haha!
Jamesy
Ithe interviewer was like 'err you're not even in the pond, you're not even a fish' That was the best line of the whole show this week

stevie_b
yes, i thought that was funny too.. did he have a license in the end or not, from what i could understand he did and the viglen dude was being a bit pedantic about semantics. I think he did have a license: not a full-blown license to provide telecoms services (e.g. host mobile phone calls), but one to allow him to act as an Internet Services Provider. The latter license sounds much easier/cheaper to obtain than the former.
ivan
I think the problem was very overblown by the Viglen guy, but it boiled down to the wording on the CV in the end. Baggs claimed he ran a "fully licensed" telecoms company while he should have just said he had a "full license" as an ISP. His timing when insisting that it was a telecoms company was priceless. Branners
I listened carefully to his reply and he said he runs telecoms across the broadband connection, thereby giving him a telecoms company. Pushing the bounds a bit but he has still started up his own company providing those services and it was a touch harsh for the MD of Viglen to pull him apart on in. One question from me, if Vig are doing sooooo great in the sales of computers why have none of us bought one or even seen an advert?

Exactly my line of thought, he IS a telecomms provider and he is licensed for the services he provides,as such that wasn't a fib. Okay, Stuart is a complete tool BUT there is no need to rip someone apart for something that isn't actually wrong. The viglen guy just made himself look like a complete moron, overly aggressive without a complete understanding what he was talking about. I remember seeing them a few years back, but that must be 8-10 years ago.....
Bobbeh
Agree Think Chris is the one that will be hired; he is quite creative and innovative in his approach and that might just give him the edge. I agree, plus he's straight out of Uni (apart from the 9 months in a job) and relatively green, which means he can be moulded by the company into the man they want. stevie_b
Ah yes, the final's tonight! Not all the other candidates have been invited to take part in the final apparently, Stuart Baggs being one of them. Don't worry lads, I'm sure Liz will be back. How long into the programme before the Liz fan club reach their vinegar strokes?
