Im currently looking at getting a good steering wheel for the ps3 and making a proper set up ready for when GT5 comes out, ive been looking at the g25 logitech one, mainly because I like the fact it has clutch and proper manual transmission, does anyone on here have one?If so want to sell lol?:p

Hoping to get one and build a sub frame around a cheap bucket seat my friend has to mount everything:d

I've read that Logitech wheels (G25/G27) use potentiometers for the pedals which can fail over time (google it) due to wear and tear.

The Fanatec GT3RS with ClubSport Pedals seems to get good reviews, though Fanatec are a small German company so not sure what their tech support would be like compared to Logitechs when a problem arises. The fanatec clubsport pedals dont use potentiometers and instead use something called "load cell" which makes for a more realistic pedal feel.

The Fanatec is dearer than the Logitech stuff though.

Fanatec Porsche turbo S wheel here, just got it and its really good. Works with Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. I wanted that as I have a 360 and PS3 and like playing Forza 3 and GT5.

I got the Ultimate Edition which comes with the clubsport pedals, the quality is superb and its belt driven so is almost silent.

They were limited to 2000 units though so not sure if they have sold out now.

Just ordered the logitech gt

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0018E281Q/ref=oss_product

Looks good and not to badly priced, couldnt justify forking out 250 for a wheel in the end.

Went to BnQ after work and bought my bits to make a frame to mount it, also picking up a bucket seat of a friend for 15quid, so going to mount the seat, pedals and wheel to the frame Im going to make, should be top when done will be sure to get pictures
