mobius
Quick question got my car in Febuary this year and noticed that the door glass froze itself to the door rubbers, making it impossable to get in (had to climb in over the back seats) Is there any 'lubricant' to prevent this, ( que sexual the comments) Vasalene is oil based so would perish the rubbers The other Lubricant available are water based so any other suggestions

Abz
Remote engine start should sort that out Or Silicone grease.
Westcoaster
Keep it in a garage? Any petrolium based lube will be fine Bad idea, petroleum jelly etc will rot rubber. Get a pot of Hepworth's silicon grease from a plumbers merchant or 3 in 1 silicon oil in an aerosol and keep it in the garage. An application of silicon grease or oil will also stop the rubber blocks squeaking on the tailgate surround. Silicon oil is the correct lube for car locks too. Havard
Remote engine start should sort that out No it won't, my car froze up in February and after a 30 minute drive the drivers door was still stuck solid.... I got in through the passenger side before anyone asks? The scary thing was that on the return journey home, my door unlocked itself at 80 Leptons.... H. SUPRALOOPY
Good idea with the silicon. Just don't have any paintwork done for a while after..
Nicolai
If you smear some rain-x (wich normaly for your windows) on the places where it gets stuck normally, that will do the trick. Or the grease wich the cheaper option.
