Guest simonb9
What can you get a TT model up to BHP wise if you don't want the expense of a single turbo build ? Is the 400bhp of a BPU pretty much as far as you can go or can you tweak it a bit more ? If so what would you need ?

SupraDan24
The extra 50bhp going Hybrid isnt really that cost effective though. Most ppl only go the Hybrid route when they're turbo's fail, personally i'd either replace the standard tubbies or go the Single route. Guest simonb9
OK cheers - doesn't seem worth the extra effort and cost to chase the last few bhp with twins.
Terminator
A Stock twin with 400+ bhp is still only hell of a good road car. Uprate your suspension and get a good geo set up and it will perform very well.

Guest simonb9
So does anybody know what sort of performance figures you would have with a 400 bhp twin manual Supra ? Are they fitted with speed limiters ?
Nic
So does anybody know what sort of performance figures you would have with a 400 bhp twin manual Supra ? Are they fitted with speed limiters ? The J-spec Supras are limited to 180kmh/112mph, but they are easily delimited. Going BPU and raising the boost to 1.2bar really brings the car alive, for the relatively low cost it makes a big difference to the performance. After that it starts to get expensive to find those extra horses. Below are the speeds through each gear, the top speeds would be very difficult to achieve, on a long stretch of road 170-180mph should be possible. In terms of 0-60mph times, I would estimate around 5 seconds at BPU levels.
