What can you get a TT up to ?

What can you get a TT model up to BHP wise if you don't want the expense of a single turbo build ? Is the 400bhp of a BPU pretty much as far as you can go or can you tweak it a bit more ?

 

If so what would you need ?

So does anybody know what sort of performance figures you would have with a 400 bhp twin manual Supra ? Are they fitted with speed limiters ?

The J-spec Supras are limited to 180kmh/112mph, but they are easily delimited.

 

Going BPU and raising the boost to 1.2bar really brings the car alive, for the relatively low cost it makes a big difference to the performance. After that it starts to get expensive to find those extra horses.

 

Below are the speeds through each gear, the top speeds would be very difficult to achieve, on a long stretch of road 170-180mph should be possible.

 

In terms of 0-60mph times, I would estimate around 5 seconds at BPU levels. See drag times HERE
